Curious about the role sensory evaluation plays in the cheese world?

From cheese mongers to cheesemakers, we all utilize sensory evaluation but with different goals, perspectives, and terminology. Join us for a deep dive on sensory as we do a vertical tasting of the same cheddar recipe from curds up to 10 years.  ACS CCPs®  Jill Allen, Director of R&D for Tillamook, and Rebekah Baker, Regional Specialty Sales Manager for Tillamook, will guide you through the two sides of sensory evaluation, evaluative and descriptive, discuss spider graphs as a sensory tool and train you on plotting your own spider graphs.

There are two options to join these sessions:

  1. Sign up for $20 to enjoy both the educational session and receive a cheese box with 4 cheddars of varying ages that will be talked about during the session. Limit is 50 cheese boxes, limit 1 per person.

OR

  1. Sign up for $10 to enjoy just the educational session. There are unlimited seats to the session!
